AUTONOMY
I learned Motion-media's advanced techniques through the design of a video that is 100% scripted, illustrated, and animated by myself.
As a mobility enthusiast, I created a promotional video for Autonomy, an annual gathering dedicated to shape the future of urban mobility.

research
I started by gathering a good understanding on the purpose of the event, its key activities, and its visual identity.

Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit is an annual gathering of 8,000 global visitors, taking place in Paris.
The event evolves around the growing
challenge of urban mobility.
Autonomy has the goal of supporting the transition to intelligent and sustainable mobility by connecting
innovative companies with important
decision makers, in both private and
public sectors.

script
Society is facing a critical moment. Our cities are full of pollution and congestion.
Mobility and transportation no longer work for the average person.
It’s time to take action.
At Autonomy, we are creating a movement to change the way we move in cities.
How can we move people in a faster, smarter and greener way?
Our event brings together consumers, key decision makers and global leading experts to collaborate and shape the future of mobility.
We dive deep into themes like active mobility, data connectivity, electrification, shared mobility and
autonomous vehicles.
We are Autonomy, a unique global community of friends, heroes, thinkers and movers.
Join the movement and help us empower urban commuters everywhere.
storyboard
This project biggest challenge was to find ways to represent abstract mobility concepts through movement and dynamic shapes. I took inspiration from brands and images that convey ideas of communities, urban mobility, and smart transportation.

styleframe iteration
Through extensive ideation and exploration, I progressed from the initial sketches to hi-fi styleframes
and animations

learnings
Learning motion-graphics in such a short time was a very challenging but rewarding experience.
Through this project, I went from zero illustration/animation skills to a good level of proficiency.
I learned to frame a storytelling process from start to end, and I gained confidence in representing abstract ideas. Lastly, I gained ninja skills at After effects, which I want to use for enhancing the quality of my vision videos, my stories and my UX designs.
